In 2024, Taipei Broadcasting Station is debuting several exciting new programs. In February, the station announced the launch of “Christine’s Life Garden,” hosted by the acclaimed Golden Melody Award-winning singer, Christine Hsu. This show will air every Saturday from 2 PM to 3 PM, inviting listeners to immerse themselves in the captivating stories behind songs and discover the profound beauty of life through music, art, and culture.

Renowned for her clear, bright vocals and emotional depth, Christine Hsu has enchanted audiences with chart-topping hits like “Rosy Life”(玫瑰人生), “Moon of the Night Sky” (天頂的月娘啊), and “The Longer the Road, the Deeper the Love”(路長情更長). With many years of radio hosting experience, Hsu eagerly accepted TBS’s invitation to curate and present “Christine’s Life Garden,” promising a journey through diverse cultural realms, beginning with music. Looking ahead to the 50th anniversary of Taiwanese folk songs, Hsu plans to feature a special segment dedicated to folk music. Through intimate interviews with legendary folk singers and musicians, the program aims to evoke nostalgia for the golden era of Taiwanese folk music.

Beyond music, “Christine’s Life Garden” will explore Taipei’s urban landscapes, personal narratives, music composition, cinema, literature, lifestyle, drama, and creative arts. Through profound interviews and storytelling, listeners will be transported into the emotional tapestry of songs and life stories, celebrating the vibrancy and allure of Taipei’s cultural and musical heritage.

Taipei Broadcasting Station Director Shao-Chien Hu expressed his excitement in welcoming Christine Hsu to the TBS family, emphasizing that her warm and comforting voice will offer listeners not just entertainment but also a profound artistic feast for the ears every Saturday afternoon through “Christine’s Life Garden.”

“Christine’s Life Garden” will broadcast every Saturday from 2 PM to 3 PM on FM93.1 and AM1134 channels of TBS.
