To enhance the listening experience for its audience, Taipei Broadcasting Station (TBS) has upgraded its broadcasting studio and equipment, ushering in a new era of radio quality in the new year. Concurrently, TBS has launched the “T Radio” internet radio station to cater to the diverse preferences of today’s digital generation.
Taipei Broadcasting Station Director Shao-Chien Hu highlighted several key features of this upgrade initiative. Eight state-of-the-art broadcasting studios have been completed, featuring the latest major recording equipment and imported German mixing and transmission systems. These enhancements significantly improve broadcast sound quality and transmission stability, meeting rigorous international standards for soundproofing certification and ensuring the highest quality listening experience for our audience.
A specially designed immersive broadcasting studio now offers a relaxed, natural setting for interviews, with guests seated comfortably on sofa chairs reminiscent of a spacious living room. Each broadcasting studio is equipped with two cameras positioned at different angles, controlled by hosts via a desktop interface. This setup provides viewers with more vivid and dynamic livestream visuals.
Hu emphasized that these upgrades were executed seamlessly, encompassing the complete overhaul of broadcasting studios, broadcast systems, the main control room, the machine room, and power distribution lines. All improvements were implemented without disruption to regular programming and were completed within the scheduled timeline, showcasing exceptional teamwork and coordination.
In consideration of the diverse listening needs of the digital era, TBS has simultaneously launched the “T Radio” internet radio. Designed with a modern and minimalist interface, it offers a more convenient search system and thematic categorization, enabling users to quickly search and listen to radio programs based on their preferences at any time.
With the mission of “Sharing Taipei, Marketing Taipei,” TBS dedicates itself to broadcasting the authentic and warm sounds of Taipei. For more program information, please visit the “T Radio” internet radio (http://tradio.gov.taipei) or the “TBS” Facebook fan page (www.facebook.com/FM93.1AM1134/).
