The “New Sound Era-Taipei Broadcasting Station Renovation Plan” achieves yet another remarkable performance. After becoming the Silver Winner of the 2024 London Design Awards in the Interior Design/Other category, the plan also became the Gold Winner of the 2024 MUSE Design Awards, again demonstrating the program’s extraordinary achievement in broadcasting equipment upgrade.

Organized by the longstanding International Awards Associate (IAA), the MUSE Design Awards’ mission is to recognize, celebrate and elevate outstanding global design innovators, and its rigorous evaluation standards have attracted outstanding design entries from all over the world. The “New Sound Era-Taipei Broadcasting Station Renovation Plan” stood out from international competitions to become the Gold Winner, marking the highest recognition of its design aesthetics and innovation.

According to TBS, the “New Sound Era-Taipei Broadcasting Station Renovation Plan” is a major project that was two years in the making, bringing together the endeavor and innovation of the entire team to modernize and enhance intelligence of broadcasting equipment, as well as to ensure the stability and clarity of broadcast signals in an effort to provide the audience with unprecedented listening experience. The project applies state-of-the-art digital technology and acoustic materials to create the upgraded digital recording studios, control rooms, broadcast equipment rooms, and transmission systems. Such innovations not only enhanced program production efficiency but also lowered power consumption, highlighting TBS’s unwavering commitment to innovation and sustainable development.

TBS Director Shao-Chien Hu extended his gratitude for the praises from the panel of international judges and the commitment of the TBS team. Receiving consecutive awards at the London Design Awards and the MUSE Design Awards this year is not only an immense encouragement for the team but also serves as a motivation for TBS to continue fostering technological innovation, elevating the quality of broadcast services, and delivering premium listening experience to the audience.
